The franchise's goal is to help its clients publish job openings, manage applicants, stay in touch with them, measure recruitment effectiveness and find the right candidate. Every client receives a fully bespoke, tailored site, with their front-end and back-end customisation needs met to the fullest. The client base varies enormously in size and profile – from large enterprises down to the smallest firms – so the system has to serve very different needs.

After the contract and a survey of the specific requirements, my role is to build each site: both the front-end and the admin interface serve that client's individual needs. The bespoke systems are built on a shared, Symfony 1.4-based core platform – a rewrite to a newer Symfony version is on the near-term roadmap. Base features available to every client include advanced multi-criteria candidate filtering, support for the full recruitment process, statistics downloadable at any time, job-ad administration, integration with ATS systems and automatic candidate hand-over. The client base keeps growing, so new sites are built from time to time.
